Full Day Excursions
Wednesdays are for exploring he country. On these days we will offer full-day sightseeing trips, for example:
- City life: Amsterdam with sights like the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and a canal boat tour to see the beautiful canal houses.
- Park life: in the middle of the Netherlands, you will find the national park Hoge Veluwe. You could just walk around in nature and have a look at the hunting lodge. But most people will grab a famous free white bike and pedal to the Kröller-Müller Museum. Half of this museum is inside where the Vincent van Gogh wing is impressive. It is often said that the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam has the largest collection of his works, but Kröller-Müller has the most beautiful works. The other half of the museum is a huge sculpture park (outside) where you could easily spend a few hours viewing all the masterpieces.
- Fairy tales and Adrenalin: the Efteling is the largest theme park in the Netherlands. It started off a long, long time ago with fairy tale exhibits for the youngest and has gradually expanded with rollercoasters and other wild attractions so your elder kids can also be sure to get their adrenalin shots. Best of all: it is only a 20-minute drive from Den Bosch.
